The team at The Millgate public house in Failsworth joined forces with local organisations to fundraise for Mahdlo.
Each year, the Millgate, M35 Music and Lite Nite host an annual outdoor charity event: Millfest. This year, they chose to dedicate the funds raised to us! We have been running Friday night sessions at Failsworth Town Hall since the start of 2015. These sessions have proved to be incredibly popular and form part of our expanding offer to ensure Mahdlo services are available to as many young people as possible across the districts of Oldham. Having seen how popular these sessions have been with local youngsters, the Millfest team decided to fundraise for a new karaoke machine, raising almost £300 – it’s already been a big hit!
