JW Lees is a founder patron company of Mahdlo and the team there are huge supporters of our work. On Thursday 11th September, they hosted a golf day and raised a huge £8310 for Mahdlo!
Claire Crossfield, Community Development Manager, says “hosting and organising events to help raise money for Mahdlo is a really great way of businesses getting involved and engagement with them is key to the sustainability of Mahdlo so whenever we can get involved with local companies, we’re really keen to do so”. Claire goes on to say “Business can do so much for our young people and not just by donating money, we need mentors and visitors to our ‘Get A Job’ programme, we need offers of work experience and visits to real work places. If any company big or small would like to find out what the next generation of young employees and consumers thinks, this is a great way to find out”.
