On Saturday 2nd July, our King Cotton walkers completed a 44 mile walk in one day, raising over £23K for Mahdlo! The route traced Oldham’s rich industrial heritage along the cotton trade canal routes from Oldham through Manchester all the way to Runcorn.

The walkers, including teams from RBS, Palatine PE, Clearwater International and Team Spirit, all showed incredible determination and commitment to supporting the work we do here at Mahdlo. The group was led by our Chairman Terry Flanagan and supported along the route by Commando Joe’s; it really was a brilliant collective effort.
