Raising a glass with Web Applications UK

We are thrilled that Web Applications UK will once again be sponsoring the VIP drinks reception at our Winter Ball! This year, on Saturday 12th November, Mahdlo will be transformed for a glitzy Las Vegas themed evening of dinner and live entertainment, and all money raised will support the future generations of Oldham by enabling us to continue to offer life-enhancing activities, opportunities and support.

This is just one way the team at Web Applications are supporting the work we do with the young people of Oldham. Over summer, they hosted a ‘Code Club’ during our Holiday Zone sessions which was a huge hit with our members, some of whom had never tried coding before but are now asking when the next sessions will be! A donation of 5 PCs will enable us to offer more of these sessions to our members and will also support the work we do on our Employability courses with young people who want to improve their CVs or get help with online job applications.

“With our summer Code Club, we offered young people the chance to engage with technology.” said Craig Dean, Chief Executive, Web Applications. “Supporting the Winter Ball is another excellent way businesses can support Mahdlo and the vital work they do – it’s also a great night out!”

Claire Crossfield, Mahdlo’s Development Manager said, “this goes to show how many different ways there are of supporting the work we do. We are thrilled to have Web Applications sponsoring the drinks reception again this year, alongside our main event sponsors The Stoller Charitable Trust and Safeguard Group. The Winter Ball is one of our biggest fundraisers and we hope this year’s will be bigger and better than ever!”

Tickets for the Winter Ball start at just £65 and there are only a few tables remaining! To book, please contact Claire Crossfield: fundraising@mahdloyz.org / 0161 785 3862.
