From cookery workshops to trips to Blackpool, young people at Mahdlo had a fun-filled summer thanks to Tesco stores in Oldham. A £6,000 donation from the stores helped us to provide numerous activities including a trip to Sandcastle Waterpark, Blackpool.

The stores also provided a cookery workshop where members could try their hand at healthy homemade pizzas, tasty scones and robot sandwiches.

“We’d like to thank Tesco Oldham for their support. They have helped us to provide numerous inclusive activities for the young people who use our services. Their support has meant we can go that one step further with activities, such as trips to Sandcastle Waterpark in Blackpool, which delighted the youngsters. The children who took part in the cookery workshop thoroughly enjoyed it and couldn’t wait to try out their newly taught skills at home.”
