SUMMER HOLIDAY ZONE WILL RUN MONDAY 24TH JULY – FRIDAY 1ST SEPTEMBER. BOOKING OPENS ON MONDAY 3RD JULY (SEE BELOW FOR DETAILS OF HOW TO BOOK).

A range of arts and sports sessions will run throughout the day, so our young people can choose and move between activities. There will also be some opportunities to take part in our Get Outdoors programme.
HOLIDAY ZONE EXTRA
Monday to Friday: 3.30 – 5.30pm £5
Holiday Zone Extra will offer focused activities. Young people will choose one of four activities on offer to develop their skills in a workshop setting. Activities will include: Arts Club, Dance, Climbing, Code Club and more…

Mahdlo Holiday Zone runs during the school holidays, Monday – Friday and is open to Mahdlo members aged 8-14 years, who have paid their £5 membership fee in full. Membership forms can be completed at Reception or by clicking here. If you would like to enquire about your membership status, please contact reception on 0161 624 0111.
A full day’s deposit is required to secure your booking; payment must be made in full by the Friday before the booking starts.
Refunds: We do not offer refunds. If we are given more than 24 hours notice then an alternative session will be offered. If this cannot be offered in the same holiday period then it may be extended to the next holiday period.
HOW WILL YOUR CHILD BE SUPERVISED?
Your child will be looked after by our team of qualified and trained, DBS checked, Youth Workers, Activity Workers and Volunteers. To ensure the health and safety of your child whilst at Holiday Zone, advance booking is required. This ensures that we have the right amount of staff and work on ratios of 1:10. Please note that all children attending Mahdlo are expected to adhere to our members Code of Conduct – if a child behaves in a way that goes against the code of conduct, parent/carer will be notified and asked to collect them.
WHAT HAPPENS IF MY CHILD HAS A KNOWN FOOD ALLERGY OR SPECIAL DIETARY REQUIREMENTS?
All meals, unless otherwise stated, are Halal, and there will always be a vegetarian option available. Please let us know at least 48 hours prior to the session that your child is due to attend, if they have any known food allergies or special dietary requirements, and we will do our utmost to accommodate these. In the event that we cannot accommodate these, please provide your child with a packed lunch. Please note that we cannot guarantee that our catering environments are completely free from nuts.
WHAT HAPPENS IF YOUR CHILD DOESN’T LIKE THE FOOD CHOICES?
If your child doesn’t like the food options, please provide them with a packed lunch as alternative food choices are unavailable. Unfortunately we are unable to provide any discount to our rates for this.
WILL YOUR CHILD NEED ANY ADDITIONAL MONEY FOR FOOD AND DRINK?
We will provide water during the day for your child, and for bookings which include meal options, juice will be provided at meal times. Our tuck shop is open at various intervals during Holiday Zone, where we have drinks and snacks for sale.
