We have welcomed a new cast of characters to our team – the Mahdlons! Following an enterprise project over the summer, a group of Mahdlo members got together to come up with ideas for merchandise for the Youth Zone. They presented their ideas to the Management team and developed a proposal based around an original design by Eric Bishyika, the young entrepreneur behind local success story SW (Something Worthy) Clothing.
The first of the Mahdlon designs was revealed last week at our Mahdlo Cup Football tournament, with the group selling their first batch of t-shirts to the visiting teams, Mahdlo staff and members. The enterprising group will now work towards building up a suite of designs and products that will not only help raise money for Mahdlo, but equip them with valuable skills in product development, design and sales. So look out – the Mahdlons are coming!
