On Saturday 19th March, local driving tuition business Learning Kerb celebrated the opening of a new driver training site with a family fun day and Easter egg hunt. Proceeds from the entry fee on the day have been kindly donated to Mahdlo – they raised a fantastic £150!
Thank you Learning Kerb for choosing to support Mahdlo and the young people of Oldham!
More about Learning Kerb…
One of the services offered by Learning Kerb is a Young Driver Training Scheme, available to young people aged 14-17 years. Students are able to get hands on experience behind the wheel of a dual controlled car – the site offers a 400m “road” featuring left and right turns, T-junctions, a crossroad and a roundabout. Learning Kerb believe early education is key in the fight to reduce road traffic casualty and fatality rates and so are able to provide interactive early education and knowledge from approved driving instructors.
You can find out more about this scheme and other driving tuition services on their website or Facebook page.
