Construction work on a brand new state-of-the-art extension to https://www.mahdloyz.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Design-our-minibus.png is nearly complete with the venue set to open with a VIP launch event on Monday 16th March 2020.
The new building, named The Stoller Performing Arts Centre of Excellence (SPACE) has been designed to accommodate the charity’s growing creative offer.
The SPACE will aim to reach more young people from the borough who have an interest in creative expression through arts, drama and music.
As part of the launch, Mahdlo is encouraging residents of Oldham to show the world how creative a town we are, and showcase their musical, artistic, and performing talents on social media using #BelieveinYourself.
Funded by The Stoller Charitable Trust, The SPACE will offer a host of events from open mic nights, theatre performances, dance sessions and gigs
The SPACE aims to be Oldham’s creative powerhouse, allowing young people to express themselves and explore their talents and passions like never before. Collaborating with some of the borough’s most artistic partners, the creative arts venue will be a unique safe space, bringing together young talent from across the Oldham area and beyond.
