On the 1st October, the juniors showcased the fashion projects they have been working on throughout September.
Our members completed lots of design work and created some amazing pieces! The arts team taught the Juniors about different designers and how they used fashion as a way to express themselves. The group then created recycled gowns, printed t-shits, jewellery and designed their own shoes.
We kick started the evening with a fashion exhibition where all their work was displayed. The DJ in the Chill Zone got everyone dancing and then it was time to start the fashion show and photo shoot. The young people brought their creations to the party and had the opportunity to model them. The atmosphere and energy was electric! Up in the enterprise room our “How do you see your selfie?” workshop was in full swing. The fashion show wasn’t the only highlight of the night. The Juniors demonstrated their culinary skills at the salad and wrap bar and made their own fruit drinks. The sports team were wowed by the sportsmanship in the football games. At the end of the night everyone collected their photo prints and were able to take home their favourite snap shots of the night!
