VI group is for children and young people aged 8 and older with a vision impairment.
With a range of activities, including cooking, arts and crafts and sports, the session is supported by staff from Mahdlo Youth Zone, Henshaws Society for Blind People and Oldham Council’s Sensory and Physical Support Service.
When, where, who and what
VI Group runs every Tuesday during school term time, from 3.30pm until 5pm at Mahdlo Youth Zone, Egerton Street, Oldham. It’s open to any young person with a vision impairment, aged from 8 to 25 (inclusive).
No booking is needed for this session
VI Group is open to any young person with a visual impairment. There is no need to book in advance.
Entry to this session requires a Mahdlo membership (£5 per year) with a 50p entry fee per young person, PAs receive free entry.
