Our brand new programme of creative arts has arrived at senior zone. There’s plenty going on from music & dance to visuals arts, radio and production courses. Take a look at our Autumn/Winter timetable and get yourself down to Mahdlo Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 6:30pm to join in.
Visual artist Fanny Gogh, will be joining us Monday & Friday evenings and specialises in fine arts, textiles, graphics and fashion. This is in addition to our regular arts and crafts sessions, where you can join in with new activities including ‘pimp my shoe’ and ‘xmas crafts & cards’. We also have street dance on Wednesdays and Fridays with Yolanda.
Our music room holds lessons in music and singing, and is a great rehearsal space for bands and artists on Mondays and Fridays. DJ lessons take place in the Media room on Wednesdays, and we have a DJ/Karaoke combo in the chill zone on Friday nights.
The Mahdlo Radiowith James Edgington is now in full swing on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings in the Radio Room.
The first of our new media production courses with Olibo Media is well underway and the next project ‘An insight into Film Making’ starts on 24th November. To book your place contact leo.casey@mahdloyz.org. More courses coming up in the new year include News Production and Television Drama.
